Whitney R. Parrish, Partner

 

Whitney's practice is diverse and extensive. Her family practice areas include: Divorces, Parenting Disputes (custody and visitation), Child Support Matters, Adoptions, and all other related family topics.  Whitney also handles criminal matters.  

 

Since beginning her practice, Whitney has successfully litigated and/or negotiated a wide-variety of family cases. Along with her family law practice and criminal practice, she has also served as a Guardian Ad Litem in a myriad of proceedings involving children.

 

Whitney was admitted to the Illinois bar in 2016 and has been practicing in Fulton County and its surrounding counties since that time. Prior to joining Barnhart, Tinsman & Parrish, Ltd. in 2021, Whitney attended law school at Northern Illinois University School of Law. Whitney also graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois with her undergraduate degree and attended Lewistown Community High School, graduating in 2010. 

 

Whitney resides in Lewistown with her family. She is heavily involved in the community and serves on the Boards of Directors for the Canton Area Chamber of Commerce and the United Way Spoon River Country.
